Recipient

A recipient is defined by Meriam-Websters dictionary as "one that receives: Receiver."  The term recipient is generally used when referring to an e-mail message.  When you send someone an e-mail message, the person you are sending to is the recipient, or the person who receives the message.  You can also send e-mail messages to multiple recipients.   For more information on sending e-mail to recipients and multiple recipients, click one of the following links:
