Configuring Microsoft
Outlook Express 5.x
If you already have an e-mail
account setup in Outlook Express, you can always remove that account, or
keep it. In fact, there are a variety of options. To look further

Outlook Express v5.x

Start Outlook Express
by double-clicking the Outlook Express icon on your desktop.

Click the Tools menu,
then click Accounts.

Click the Mail tab.

Click the Add button,
then click Mail.

On the first screen, "Your Name,"
click in the box next to Display Name:.

Enter your Real Name, then click
Next.

When the next screen pops up,
be sure I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use. is
selected.

Delete everything in the E-mail
address: box, and enter your EZ-Net e-mail address. This can
be found on your EZ-Net Account Information Sheet.

After you have entered in your
e-mail addres, click Next.

When the next screen is up,
be sure and make sure the top sentence reads "My incoming mail server
is a POP3 server." If it does, than continue on, otherwise do
the following:

Click the drop-down menu arrow,
and select POP3.

Click in the box underneath
Incoming
mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: and type the following without the quotes:
"mailhost.ez-net.com"

Now click in the box underneath
Outoing
mail (SMTP) server: and type the following without the quotes: "mailhost.ez-net.com"

When both boxes are filled in,
click Next.

The next screen will be the
"Internet Mail Logon" screen. Click in the box next to Account
name:. In this box, you will want to enter your username.
Your username can be found on your EZ-Net Account Information Sheet.

Now click in the Password:
box. Enter your password, which can also be found on you EZ-Net Account
Information Sheet.

Once both boxes are all filled
out, click the Next button.

Finally, go ahead and click
Finish.

From here, go ahead and click
Close,
and you should be all set.
